I've written previously on the importance of daily prayer and the centrality of that spiritual discipline for the health of the spirit and training one's consciousness to be constantly aware of the activity and presence of Christ. One of the best ways to form this routine in daily life (in my opinion) is by using the Daily Offices as found in The Book of Common Prayer.
If you were not raised in a tradition that uses the Daily Offices and/or The Book of Common Prayer, it can seem confusing at first. With a little practice, however, its actually fairly easy to navigate. That said, there's an even easier resource if you do not have a hard copy of The Book of Common Prayer, or if you do not wish to purchase one. The Mission of St. Clare is an ecumenical website offering Morning and Evening Prayer using the order set out in The Book of Common Prayer.
One thing I love about The Mission of St. Clare daily offices is that they are available in audio format - it feels more communal than simply reading the parts of the offices yourself. There are also many other wonderful devotional resources on the site.
